When do you ever get to plan a party that has no budget at all? This is probably one of the biggest birthday parties for kids. The celebrant, being only 3yrs old, wanted to have a Carnival themed party. Where better place to hold it than at the Grand Hyatt playground. The venue was transformed into a heaven for kids.

Waiting at the entrance was a balloon twister that welcomed all the kids; bubbles were blowing as they walked through a colorful balloon tunnel arch. The moment they saw what the playground has turned into, they got so excited, they ran through the whole venue, not knowing where to start. There were stalls containing popcorn, gelato ice cream, lemonade, a chocolate fountain, and cotton candy. Carnival games such as knocking down the tin cans with a ball, shooting the balls in a hoop, and a clown punching bag — all the kids went home with a stuffed animal, based on the points they won.

And then it was snack time! A long table of miniature tables, chairs and cutlery was set, awaiting the kids. Mini hot dogs in buns, magic cheese wands, little face pizzas, star-shaped pancakes with blueberry jam were served, all for the kids to enjoy. It was nothing short of carnival.

When it was time to cut the cake, the pastry chef came out carrying a 10 pound, 3-tiered mickey mouse cake. Gathered around during the birthday song were Mickey Mouse, Barney and Cinderella, among the children and parents.
